    President and CEO, Confidential Business Resources

    A noted national expert in private investigation and security, Halsey Fischer is responsible for all corporate operations of Confidential Business Resources (CBR). Under his management, the company has grown to nine offices throughout the U.S. and successfully integrated three acquired companies. At CBR, Fischer has developed a state-of-the-art Internet case management system for use by remote offices and clients, and consolidated finance and administration activities through development of Internet-based communications and billing. CBR leads its industry in the use of Internet-based technologies.

    Fischer previously held the position of Senior Vice President, U.S. Investigations, for Pinkerton. Responsible for all corporate operations nationwide, including 28 profit centers in major U.S. cities, he returned the group to profitability and growth by eliminating 18 of 46 offices, raising employee productivity by 15%, and increasing the average client rating level to 8.4 from 6.4 (10 highest).

    Prior, he was Group President, Security Consulting and Investigations, at Business Risks International, where he was responsible for all corporate operations of a 15-office nationwide network. Fischer reorganized business procedures at the firm and was part of a profitable turnaround operation.

    Before entering the security field, Fischer was Vice President, National Sales and Administration, at Endata, a national company providing computer software, systems, and services. He was a member of the management team that coordinated a leveraged buyout of the company and its subsequent initial public offering.

    Fischer was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Lieutenant. He is an honors graduate of Vanderbilt University and also holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Florida.
